Moving out of Storage From Jake Storage Melbourne’s Facility at Notting Hill

Duminda has been a customer of ours since the beginning of 2019 in January. We were first introduced as he required our services to move his home from Mulgrave into storage a couple of months while he was building his new home in Glen Iris which then turned into 6 months.
June came around and it was time for Duminda to move into his new home in the suburb of Glen Iris.
We were holding the contents of a 4 bedroom home, which is the equivalent to 4-5 of our storage units.
Each individual storage unit is 8 cubic metres and they are all held in our warehouse which is under 24 Hour video surveillance and can be accessed with at least a days notice anytime between 9am and 5pm weekdays and 10am-4pm Saturdays.
One of the larger items that we were storing for Duminda was an 8foot pool table. With pool tables they take considerable extra care due to its size and weight which averages 350kg for a slate top. As professionals we are very prepared for this item with our custom made and high-quality pool table trolley. This item turns a somewhat near impossible task for two movers into a less difficult obstacle due to its clever design which assists our movers to complete the task successfully and with no damage to the pool table or the men.
All items in our storage had been wrapped carefully with our high quality furniture blankets and plastic wrapping from when our movers first moved them into storage. This helps the items stay protected while in storage and during relocation to their new home.
During the relocation process Duminda also decided that he would not be taking all of his belongings but would be requiring the use of one unit to hold certain items until they required relocation also.
Duminda was extremely grateful for all the hard work our guys put into firstly moving into storage and then also relocation of his belongings and with no damage caused to any items.
