At the latest census, Ormond had a population of approximately 9,000. Ormond is a great suburb. Close to north, centre, south rd with many cafes, shops, supermarkets in close proximity. Californian bungalow-style houses are common in Ormond and many cream brick apartment buildings which were constructed in the 1960s.

Many great schools for both primary and secondary students along with superb public transport by both train and tram. You can get to the city in 25 mins on the train as well as to the amazing Chadstone shopping centre within 10 minutes.
